New 2023 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Price and Redesign – The Chevrolet Corvette has been a standard in the sports car market for nearly 70 years. The Corvette went through its biggest transformation since the 2019 debut of the C8 Corvette Stingray, a mid-engined C8 Corvette Stingray. GM is now hard at work preparing the Z06 track-oriented model. The excitement for the Z06 model is growing now that the Corvette’s mid-engine Corvette has been revealed.
Chevrolet Corvette Z06 2023 Redesign
Chevrolet’s magnetic ride control suspension system is an easy choice for this track-oriented vehicle. The wider bodywork will likely be used to cover the Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2R tire spotted on prototypes. The same prototype was also equipped with serious aerodynamics packages, including a huge rear wing, large dive planes, and a large splitter at the front. These aero elements are more extreme for 2023 Chevrolet Corvette Z06, and they have been reported as active units. These high-quality aerodynamic bits will be included in the Z07 package.
The cabin layout is still very accommodating to the driver and offers a wide range of standard and optional features. These include a 12.0-inch digital gauge cluster, a head-up display, heated and ventilated seating, and wireless charging. The new Z06 will include all of these features and more. The new Z06 will continue to showcase its track record through carbon-fiber and microsuede interior accents, as well as an additional set of bolstered seats.
Engine and Transmission
You can expect full details about the Z06’s suspension upgrades and tires as well as the new engine. This will be more powerful than the C8.R race car with a similar engine. The 2023 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 will get a special engine that should sound like the supercars it is trying to replace. Flat-plane cranks mean that the naturally-aspirated 5.5-liter V-8 should rev between 8500 to 9000 RPM. The engine will produce over 600 horsepower and its Ferrari-like howl will send chills down the spines of anyone who hears it. This unusual V-8 engine will be connected to an 8-speed dual-clutch auto transmission and rear-wheel drive.
Release Date and Price
You’ll have to wait a little longer, but only until October 26, 2021. We can only speculate about the cost of the new Corvette Z06 because Chevy has not yet officially announced it. The base model’s front-engine predecessor was priced at $25,000 less than its predecessor. The 2023 Z06 is expected to go on sale in August for $87,000.
