New 2023 Lotus Emira Price, Overview, Release Date – Lotus is currently phasing out several sports cars and has plans to replace them all with a new mid-engine model called Emira. The Lotus Emira, a premium mid-engined sports car, perfectly represents the ongoing transformation of Lotus’ business and brand. It has all the hallmarks of a Lotus: a striking design, dynamic performance, unrivaled aerodynamics, and unparalleled driving experience.
Lotus Emira 2023 Overview
The new Emira will look like a mechanical package that is hidden under a makeshift Evora. The wheel arches at the front and rear have been significantly extended, which points to a wider track. The 2023 Lotus Emira will go into production within the next few months. It is built using the new Sports Car Architecture, (SCA), which Lotus developed in-house. SCA is constructed using the same bonded aluminum extrusion technology as any other Lotus platform.
This car’s cabin was well-designed and equipped. Customers will be pleased with the new dash design and new features. This design is based on other sports cars, with some modifications from Lotus.
Safety System and Features
The Emira has standard convenience features such as keyless go, cruise control, and rain-sensing wipers. An optional package includes advanced driver assistance systems, such as adaptive cruise, fatigue alert, and lane-keep assistance. The cabin’s center is home to a touch screen measuring 10.25 inches. This touchscreen can be used to control the audio and sat-nav systems, but it can also display a range of performance data such as g-loads or fuel consumption. Apple Car Play and Android Auto connectivity come standard.
Engine Performance and Transmission
The 2023 Lotus Emira will start with the supercharged 3.5-liter V-6 from Toyota. It will be available with either six-speed manual transmission or six-speed auto transmission. Although the engine may produce 416 horsepower, emissions reductions have reduced the power output to 400 horsepower for the Emira. Lotus claims that the Emira can accelerate from 0-60 mph in less than 4.5 seconds
